Mamasan

I’ve been waiting for Mamasan to reopen after their renovation. I love the new design and inside, it’s nearly doubled inside size. While my favourite dish of Wagyu Beef Red Curry is no longer on the menu, replaced with a Roast Duck Curry, the food was delicious, spicy and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the ambience perfect for a Tuesday lunch. With one glass of wine ($18), and shared food below, it worked out around $70pp. You do get what you pay for. I’ve already booked to return in a month. It’s my favourite restaurant in Broadbeach.

Just got home from a wonderful experience. From the get go, we felt relaxed and very comfortable. The Silk Road cocktail certainly was a lovely switch up from my usual marg. Everything in the cocktail worked so well together. The food was unreal! The kingfish was so delicious, we wanted a whole bowl of the sauce that it was paired with. The sando was amazing, I’d take 14 of em’. Duck curry was beautiful, we loooved the addition of the lychee in it…it just works! The thought that goes into the menu is clear. HUUUUGE shoutout to LEE, she was so great! Knew her stuff, so incredibly hospitable, thank you Lee. Another shoutout to Andrej the manager for the anniversary surprise, we were so lucky to try the sweet caviar…delicious! We absolutely without a doubt will be back and will be recommending! Made our anniversary a special one

Incredible food, beautiful venue, and the best service ever from Jack! Every dish was packed with flavour — the Bulgogi Octopus, Tiger Prawns, and Pork Belly were all standouts. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out. Jack went above and beyond all evening — friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly looked after. Hands down the best service we’ve ever had. Highly recommend Mamasan — world-class food, stunning space, and five-star service every time!

Modern Asian fusion cuisine. Must try if you visit Gold Coast. We enjoyed all food with ordered. They have Chinese Chi Chi 即炸油炸鬼

No words to explain how tasty the food was. Every single one of the options we tried was best out of best except the eggplant. I love eggplant but fried option wouldnt feel like the style for this place. I would have loved if it was more traditional sichuan type.

My partner and I ate at Mamasan with some friends of ours and had very high expectations after multiple recommendations from friends and social media. We can all say with confidence that our expectations were well exceeded! Our waiter Lee had the best energy and made our whole service experience memorable. Lee has such great energy and kept our night exciting with his positive attitude and jokes. As for the food, amazing. It was a very busy Friday night but the kitchen handled the rush perfectly, the food came quick and Lee organised the order of the food perfectly. The dim lit premium atmosphere and open kitchen made the whole experience even better. By far the best restaurant on the Gold Coast and we definitely will be returning!

This is an excellent restaurant. Delicious food, excellent service, awesome location and lively atmosphere. The tea smoked beef is exceptional, with our quasi vego teen even commenting on the flavour. The prawn toast and king fish were subtly flavoured and interesting. I luvvved the salted caramel dusted brownie. Cocktails were beautifully presented with some punch. It's not a cheap night out but I thought it reasonable value.
